With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we all are going to need something to do. You may be going out for dinner, to the movies, or you may want to stay home. If that’s you, here are a list of some of the greatest Valentine’s Day movies for you to watch.
“TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE”
I’m sure a lot of us have written secret love letters, but I guarantee 5 of them did not get sent out to them, like Laura Jean (Landa Condor) went through. After all 5 of these letters were sent out, her highschool life started going downhill in many aspects.
“P.S. I LOVE YOU”
The casual love story we all know about. If you want an idea on how to handle a loss, this movie is for you. A widow discovers on her 30th birthday that her late husband sent her a series of letters designed to alleviate the pain of grief and help her move forward. If you don’t mind crying, this movie is a must see.
“DEFINITELY, MAYBE”
Most love stories can be cute, but others are not. If you want your love story to be a cute one, this movie is for you. In ‘Definitely, Maybe’, Maya turns her birds and the bees conversation into a tale of how her parents met and her father's romantic past with three different women.
“NAPPILY EVER AFTER”
A little change is good, but how do we start this? If that’s your problem, this movie is one you should be watching this Valentine’s Day! A perfectionist ad executive breaks up with her boyfriend as she is tired of waiting for him to propose. She embarks on a new life journey, beginning with a dramatic hair makeover.
“SIXTEEN CANDLES”
We all love classics, but have you seen “Sixteen Candles”? "That's why they call them crushes. If they were easy, they'd call 'em something else." Samantha’s family forgot all about her 16th birthday, and she’s got someone bothering her the whole time. But, her birthday may have gotten a lot better when her crush, Jake Ryan, spots her.
Even if you don’t have a date this Valentine’s Day, there are some great movies to curl up to. So call your besties, grab some popcorn, and have a great night!
