Is Country Music the Best Music?

We all have an opinion on country, rap, pop, hip-hop, christian, and jazz music. You may think rap is the best due to its upbeat tunes. Or you may think that jazz music tops it all due to the smooth and chaotic feeling. Or perhaps you might believe that classical provides the most calming atmosphere. Here are a few reasons showing you how country music is the best music.

1. Country music lyrics are like no other. They are lyrics that you and I both understand. They have a meaning for everything, rather you know it or not. They have some upbeat country music for you to jam to with your friends, or some slow ones when you just need to cry your heart out. Whatever they are, they always touch our heart in a way we don’t understand. They are relatable.

2. It’s the best party music! Whether it’s Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, or even George Strait, you will always find yourself out on the dance floor, moving your feet, and even catching yourself singing along!

3. Driving tunes! When it’s 68 degrees, the sun is setting around 8:45 and you are driving through town, windows down with a slight breeze, you always need some country music blasting on the radio! I promise you, you aren’t the only person around town doing the same.

4. Classics! A 1996, ‘Check Yes or No,’ or a 2008, ‘Chicken Fried,’ you know you will always turn the volume up and start singing. You know all the lyrics are they start spilling out of your mouth before you even notice. Even those who claim to hate country can’t help but nod along. As Luke Bryan once sang, “Play it again, play it again, play it again.”

5. It makes you notice the little things in life. It makes you happy when the lyrics touch your heart. It makes you happy to know there are many things to be thankful for. Isn’t that the point of great music?
