What’s your go-to snack? Getting through the day is hard without eating a snack to get you to the next meal. Don’t restrict yourself from snacks, but instead eat something healthy. Instead of grabbing chips or candy out of your pantry, make any of these healthy and easy recipes!


Peanut Butter Energy Bites:

- These are made with peanut butter, old fashioned oats, flax seed, honey, and chocolate chips

- Every ingredient gets combined into one bowl, then you roll it up into balls

- No baking is required, so this recipe only takes 10 minutes!

- Loaded with protein, fiber, and healthy fats will keep you full until your next meal


Baked Banana Chips:

- Only ingredients you need for this one is bananas and lemon juice

- Slice the bananas into thin slices, and place them on a baking sheet, then brush the slices with lemon juice

- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees, and bake for 90 minutes

- While baking, make sure you lift up banana slices once in awhile to separate them from the baking sheet

- Bananas have many minerals and vitamins that are healthy


Toast Varieties

- Using wheat bread or healthy grain bread is the best choice if you’re looking to make healthy decisions with food!

- There are many toppings you can put on toast to spice up the taste including, avocado, peanut butter, or hard boiled egg

- These topping choices each have healthy fats, everyone needs some sort of fat in their diet


Smoothie

- There are only 4 simple ingredients in this strawberry-peach smoothie, including frozen strawberries, frozen peaches, plain greek yogurt, and coconut water.

- Put one cup of frozen strawberries, ½ cup of frozen peaches, one cup of plain greek yogurt, and ½ cup of coconut water into a blender all together

- Blend on high until you have the consistency you want

- Strawberries and peaches are fruits that are both excellent sources of vitamins
